SCO Economic and Trade Platform “South Asian Security and Development” Seminar Held in Chongqing

Recently, the 2024 SCO Economic and Trade Platform “South Asian Security and Development” Seminar hosted by the SCO Economic and Trade Platform Think Tank was held in Chongqing.
Ganwarij Vijita Ravipriya, CEO of the Sri Lanka Tax Research Institute, Ji Kaiyun, Director of the Iran Research Center of Southwest University, Long Xingchun, Professor of Sichuan International Studies University, Nivedita Das Kundu, Associate Professor of the International Department of Alatu International University in Kyrgyzstan, Life Member of the United Services Institute of India, Research Scholar at York University in Canada, and Expert of the Valdai International Debate Club of Russia, Ni Chunle, Vice Dean of the School of National Security of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Prabhat Indika Perera, Director of the Sri Lanka Monitoring and Evaluation Institute, Song Zhihui, Vice Dean of the School of International Relations of Sichuan University and Executive Director of the Institute of South Asia, Xu Luzi, Secretary-General of the Institute of Comprehensive National Security Concept of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Zhou Yujia, Deputy Director of the Iran Research Center of Southwest University, and more than a dozen other think tank experts from home and abroad attended the seminar.
Experts and scholars discussed topics such as maintaining the stability of the industrial chain and supply chain in South Asian countries and regions and promoting high-quality economic development in the region, and actively put forward suggestions and contributed wisdom in their respective professional fields.
