Damauli (Tanahun), May 1: Minister for Health and Population Pradip Paudel has said the GP Koirala Centre for Respiratory Diseases would be developed as a specialized hospital for the treatment of respiratory diseases.
Inaugurating dialysis services at the Center at Shuklagandaki Municipality-5 in Tanahun district today, he stated that many people would also visit this hospital for treatment even from abroad if it was upgraded as a specialized centre.
Minister Paudel shared that the hospital would get Rs 2,500 per individual in grant from the government for providing dialysis service. The hospital is providing orthopaedic, neurology, general surgery and internal medicine services from specialist doctors.
Apart from this, the hospital has also started blood culture service some time ago. The hospital is providing OPD, round-the-clock emergency, lab, video X-ray service and minor surgery services.
