Kathmandu, April 3: Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Sasmit Pokharel, visited the Janak Education Materials Centre (JEMC) Limited and the Medical Education Commission (MEC) on Friday.
The Minister’s delegation reached both offices based at Sanothimi of Bhaktapur. During the visit, the Minister pledged all sorts of support on the part of the government to the enhancement of both entities. He hoped that potential areas of cooperation, partnership and collaboration would be explored for further strengthening of both organisations.
During his visit to JEMC, he directed for completing printing of textbooks on time so that students would be ensured timely access to books. Similarly, Pokharel took stock of the Council’s status and activities, inquiring about legal hurdles for operating the Geta Hospital, Kailali as a university.
