AKIPRESS.COM – Minister of Energy Talaibek Ibraev attended the 4th meeting of Ministers of Energy of Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Astana.
The Ministers of Energy discussed strategic approach to development of cooperation in energy sector, change of global and regional energy agenda, development of new approaches and decisions aimed to ensure development of energy sector.
Talks were held on implementation of the projects aimed at development of energy sector, attraction of investments and financing.
“Our strategy of cooperation in the field of energy until 2030 is based on principles of mutually beneficial cooperation, sustainable development and support of economic growth of our regions,” Minister Ibraev said.
Minister Ibraev met with Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan Daler Jumaev, Minister of Energy of Iran Mehrabian Ali Akbar, Deputy Chairman of China’s National Energy Administration China Jinsun Vanem.
The SCO Energy Ministers approved the draft strategy “Development of energy cooperation between SCO countries until 2030”.
