Kathmandu, Feb 25: Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Shraddha Shrestha, has stressed on the effective implementation of the National Policy Against Human Trafficking.
Addressing a discussion programme on the National Policy Against Human Trafficking organized at the Ministry here today, she said everyone in the society should work together against trafficking in humans.
Minister Shrestha underscored on effective implementation of the policy now that it has been brought.
She shared on the occasion that difficulties are also faced in rescuing the victims of human trafficking due to the resource constraints and the procedural complexities.
Secretary at the Ministry, Radhika Aryal, said many things are clear in the policy and there should not be any hindrance in its implementation in accordance with the associated Acts and legislations.
She directed the bodies concerned to also carry out works in an effective and result-oriented manner.
