Kathmandu, March 29: Six persons have died in separate incidents occurred at different places of the country on Saturday and Sunday.
Ram Jeevan Sah, 19, of Sonama rural municipality-5 in Mahottari died when two motorcycles collided with each other at Sonama rural municipality-4.
Similarly, 55-year-old Tulasi Thapa of Chandrakot rural municipality-4 was killed when a jeep heading towards Shantipur from Chandrakot hit her as well as Gore Rai, 86, of Triyuga municipality-11 died when a jeep en route to Hetauda from Kathmandu hit him at Bhimphedi rural municipality-6 in Makawanpur district, according to the Police Headquarters News Room.
Likewise, a pedestrian Urmila Devi Mahato, 70, of Dhangadhimai rural municipality-6 in Siraha was killed after being hit by a motorcycle at Dhangadhimai rural municipality-6 on Saturday evening.
A 21-year-old Ton Bahadur Ale Magar of Rising rural municipality-3 in Tanahu district died in a motorcycle accident occurred at Bharatpur metropolitan city-12 in Chitwan district.
Chandra Jung Hamal, a planning officer with an organisation called Samriddha Pahad, died due to altitude sickness on Saturday.
The incident took place when Hamal, 33, of Kanakasundari rural municipality in Jumla district had gone to Lonak area of Phaktanglung rural municipality-6 in Taplejung district for official work, according to the District Police Office. He was also working at Kanchenjunga Conservation Area Project.
The mortal remains of Hamal had been airlifted to Kathmandu for necessary legal process including postmortem, shared Police Inspector and Information Officer, Jata Shankar Yadav.
