PM to hold meeting with chief ministers of all provinces

Kathmandu, April 16: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has scheduled discussions with the chief ministers of all seven provinces for the first time since assuming office on Thursday.

The meeting is scheduled for 2:00 PM at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.

According to sources, the discussion will focus on accelerating development and construction works, ensuring the proper distribution of resources, and addressing various administrative and financial problems being faced by the provinces.

The agenda also includes strengthening coordination and cooperation between the federal government and the provinces to implement projects of national priority effectively.

The meeting is expected to build a common understanding on the country’s current economic situation, infrastructure development, improvement in public service delivery, and the promotion of good governance.

The discussion is being viewed as an important step toward making the implementation of federalism more effective and delivering direct benefits to the people.
