Kathmandu, May 11: The Federal Parliament’s budget session is beginning today. A joint session of the Federal Parliament will be held at 4:00 pm later today, according to a notice issued by Federal Parliament General Secretary Padam Prasad Pandey.
As per the agenda shared by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, President Ramchandra Paudel is scheduled to table the government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year at the joint meeting of the both the houses.
Accordingly, members of the Federal Parliament have been requested to be seated at the House of Representatives Chamber (Multipurpose Hall), Singha Durbar, for the joint meeting before 3:45 pm, adds the notice.
Prior to this, the House of Representatives and the National Assembly are scheduled to meet separately at 2:00 pm. Among other business, various ordinances recently introduced by the Government through the President are scheduled to be presented for endorsement of the house.
