Makawanpur, June 11: An engineer and the driver were killed after a jeep veered off the road at Baidamar of Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-8 in Makawanpur district last night.
According to police, Surya Yadav, an engineer working in Nijgadh-Kathmandu Fast Track Project, and jeep driver Bodhraj Budhathoki died in road accident that happened on their way to Mandu Hydropower Project from Ipa in the district.
Spokesperson of the District Police Office Makawanpur and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Madhav Prasad Kafle said that Yadav is a permanent resident of Pacharauta Municipality-7 in Bara district and driver Budhathoki is from Kamalamai Municipality-9 in Sindhuli district.
