Kathmandu, May 27: The government is unveiling the budget for the coming fiscal year, 2083/84 in the joint meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the National Assembly at 4:00pm on Friday.
Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal informed the lawmakers to be present in the joint meeting before 3:45pm on the slated date.
Every year, Jestha 15 of Nepali calendar has been fixed as the day for budget announcement since the promulgation of Constitution in 2072 BS.
The day is observed also as the Republic Day.
Speaker Aryal today informed the lawmakers that HoR would meet next at 5:30 on Friday.
