Birtamod, Aug.30: A person died after drowning in a swimming pool inside the compound of Dreamland in Birtamod-2, Jhapa.
Prakash Prasai, aged 33, of Birtamod-3, and Keshab Shiwakoti, aged 33, of Birtamod-10, had gone for swimming in the swimming pool at 3 PM on Friday.
Prasai died while swimming. The deceased is the owner of Omkar Readymix Concrete Private Limited.
According to the District Police Office, Jhapa, a police team arrived of Birtamod Area Police Office arrived at the incident site at 8 PM on Friday after getting information by swimming pool operator.
The case is currently under investigation.
